Colour, keyboard and app in one
It covers both habits in one machine: the keyboard for a quick shelf label, the app when you want fonts and frames or icons. The keyboard side alone has 3 fonts in 7 styles plus 15 frames, with 250 symbols.
Btag is designed for personal labels: bright colours and a split backing that peels easily. Children and crafters notice that more than anyone.
A 16-character preview screen and memory for 10 labels keep it practical.
A classroom set, worked out
Twenty-five 2.5-inch name labels, plus leader, use about 81 inches, roughly 6.8 feet. That is about half a 13.1-foot Btag cassette, around $5 to $8.

The Btag trade-offs
- Btag only
- It does not take TZe tape, and Btag will not fit TZe machines. Pick one system for the house.
- Nothing to power it in the box
- Order 6 AAA batteries or the adapter at the same time.
- Btag costs more per foot than TZe
- Use it for the labels people see; use a cheaper system for storage.

Brother P-touch PT-N25BT or Brother P-touch PT-D220?
The PT-D220 prints longer-lasting laminated TZe labels for less per label, with a keyboard only. The N25BT adds the app and colour range. For a pantry, the D220; for a teenager's room or a classroom, the N25BT.
